The new Executive Chef and operator Michael Farrell takes pride in creating a personalized experience, making the dream of that special day come to life.

Every event features the superb food and service of Michael Farrell, sparkling crystal, fine table linens, and beautiful decor. We put it all together for you. With flair, finesse, and a seasoned cadre of professionals concerned always with the well-being of you and your guests.

The Summerhouse Inn and Restaurant has a long and rich history, which has celebrated the simple charm and elegance of Siasconset since the early part of the century. Although seemingly worlds away, its setting is a mere eight miles from the town of Nantucket. On a bluff overlooking the ocean, this unique and special place is an ideal backdrop for an intimate wedding or special event. The restaurant encompasses bluff and beach front property. These two options allow for a tented event on our secluded patio at the beach's edge or nestled up on the bluff surrounded by ten antique rose covered cottages. Whether you are new to the Island or have summered in Nantucket for many years, a wedding at The Summerhouse mixes the charm of yesteryear with the best foods and service of today to create a truly memorable day.

The Summer House Restaurant can be your all in one resort wedding experience. Rehearsal dinners in the award winning restaurant, or a more causal lobster boil on our beach. Wedding ceremonies can take place on our main lawn, pool side lawn or beach. Your guests can also enjoy a private Sunday brunch inside the restaurant or outside on the lovely porch looking over the ocean.


Weddings may either be held either At the Summer House Main Restaurant or The Oceanside Restaurant.

The Main Restaurant: has a minimum capacity of 80 guests and a maximum capacity of 110 guests.

The Oceanside Restaurant: It has a minimum capacity of 150 guests and a maximum capacity of 250 guests for receptions that are held until 10PM,
and a minimum capacity of 40 guests and a maximum capacity of 150 guests
for receptions held between 4 PM and 8PM.

For all wedding receptions the food minimum is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity and thebar minimum is $55 per person plus tax and gratuity.
